Why do we celebrate Diwali because On this day,  Rama and Lakshman, son of king Dasaratha of Ayodhya and Sita wife of Ram returned to Ayodhya after deducting 14 years of exille. When Rama returned to Ayodhya, people burnt lamps of ghee in happiness. The people of Ayodhya started cleaning the house even before their arrival. Because we celebrate Diwali every year.s

How did people first celebrate Diwali ?

 Even before the festival of Diwali, people used to clean and scrub their houses and decorated their houses with flowers. On the festival of Diwali, people used to make sweets in their homes and sit in their relatives and used to congratulate each other on Diwali. People used to celebrate Diwali with great pomp and show. On the day of Diwali people used to burn lamps of ghee in the houses. People used to make Rangoli at the main door the houses.

How do people celebrate Diwali in today's time?

In today's time, people light a lot of chinese light by not lighting ghee on Diwali. People clean the houses and get them painted. On Diwali people bring expensive firecrackers and play them all day. People buy delicious sweets on the day of Diwali and offer sweets to each other by wishing their relatives on Diwali. On the night of Diwali, people worship loard Shiv's son Ganesh, Mata Lakshmi and Mata Saraswati.

We should help the poor people on the festival of diwali.

we should help the poor people on the festival of Diwali and how do we help? With the money from which we buy expensive firecrackers, we can buy sweets for them because poor people feel like celebrating Diwali.

If we play crackers, then we have two disadvantages.

(1) Air pollution

(2)Noise pollution

Animals, birds and people die every year from these pollution. Better than this we can not buy firecrackers and buy clothes for the poor people with those money or buy thing they need. There will be neither air pollution nor noise pollution
